Meet John Upshaw

Realtor of the Month - July 2020

John Upshaw, from Whittington Realty, works primarily in the OKC area, but has also worked in areas such as Norman, Moore, Newcastle, Mustang, Edmond, and Guthrie. After originally working as a math teacher for Junior High, as well as coaching football and basketball, John eventually made his way into real estate. As a result of working in education before this, John has strong communication skills, and is able to help first time homeowners understand the process.

His slogan, “Serving others through real estate”, is something that he strives to do everyday, and does not go unnoticed by those that he works with. They consider John to be hardworking, considerate, and available, as he is willing to meet with clients in the evenings, and even on weekends.

When John isn’t serving others through real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family and their lab, Molly. He enjoys travelling, and watching teams like the Oklahoma Sooners, the OKC Thunder, and the Dallas Cowboys. John is very involved in the PTSA at his kids’ school, and is the president of the 405 Business Club, a networking group in the OKC area.
